Ghostbike Project

|

I received quite a bit of inquiries about my next project, the as-of-yet-unnamed "Ghostbike" short, and hopefully I can clarify what's going on.

Sunday's memorial ride was staggering, to say the least, with cyclists completely encompassing the Bear Cut bridge base-to-base on the west side of the causeway. I was with the individual who pieced together and painted the ghost bike that was placed at the location of Christophe LeCanne's needless and horrific incident, and he agreed to let me film the entire process.

The piece is about 70% complete as I type this, and I am hoping to find a local musician to complement the video with original music. If you or anyone you know is up to this, please do not hesitate to contact me (tony.blazejack@gmail.com). I am up for nearly any style/genre/whatever so long as it matches the mood of what I recorded and it is original. Please spread the word.

As of now, my intentions are to complete this project and submit it to various film festivals. Until then, I intend to "keep it under wraps," save for a special screening or two. Keep checking back for progress, updates, and possibly a trailer.

Thanks,

- tony
